Hero Ventures Ltd. was a private venture capital fund that invested in early stage technology companies from 2004 to 2019. We found that there was a shortage of Canadian investment in seed stage startups, and, as a result we provided funds and support to this sector. We looked mainly for software and hardware companies that were highly scalable. We invested in over 25 companies and earned at 32% annual return on exits so far.
